The hotel was exceptionally clean, towels and bed linens were a good quality. The room was large and had a balcony. I appreciate that it had a 4 cup coffee maker, a fridge and a microwave. The location was excellent to walk to all the stores and restaurants in in Mariposa and was about a 1 hour drive to Yosemite National Park. (Longer if there was traffic...go early on a weekend) The hotel was VERY quiet. I couldn't hear any of my neighbors even though it was full every night. The pool area was clean. The air conditioner worked well.

Convenient location 1 hour away from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. Big supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby. We recommend El Cid Mexican Cuisine. It was great! The hotel receptionist (I didn’t get her name) gave us advice about driving in the snow as we didn’t have snow chains and a severe weather advisory for snow was issued. Luckily we could still go to Yosemite without any problems. A simple daily breakfast was provided and this was not mentioned in the hotel description. It was a pleasant surprise.

The rooms were very spacious for 2 persons. It is a short 30min drive to the southgate entrance of yosemite national park. Morning breakfast was basic but a great service provided for those who want to fill up before heading out. Staff were very friendly and the wifi worked well. Parking out in front of the hotel was well lit and we didn't have any issues finding a lot. Laundry facilities were available for $3/wash load - would be great if it could be 24h access though.

Hotel is located an hour drive from Yosemite National Park, in quite and calm city of Mariposa. It has nice small pool. Room was big, with basic equipemenet, but it full cover my expectation (microwave, fridge). Room was clean and fresh. Coffee, tea and cold drinks available 24/day. Breafast was modest, but tasty and fresh. They started serving it a bit earlier after my request. Nice free parking in the backyard of hotel.

Different then your average cabin,hotel. Surprise how equipped it was. Beautiful views, nature all around you , gas station next door along with a market, near by the entrance of the Yosemite national park. 2 story recreation place big enough to have a a big family gathering with plenty of sitting and a big dinning table , pool tables, air hockey, foosball, reading nook. Beautiful place

This hotel is as close to Yosemite National Park as we could afford - about 40 miles. We liked the town and the people we met at the restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. It had good variety and was well-prepared. Of the places we've traveled, this was top notch. Chris, at the front desk was friendly and very helpful.

Great location inside Yosemite National Park. A big garage to park your car (only one will fit). Well equipped kitchen. No problem with hot water, despite the fact that it is located in really remote place. There was a heating in the property that did a great job (we were there in November and the nights were really cold outside).

The location is perfect, Yosemite National Park is really close and there are also some really good restaurants close to the Hotel. For example Smokehouse 41 BBQ which is just down the road. There‘s also lots of parking spots available. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room which was also quite handy.

We liked the location because it's in close proximity to Yosemite National Park. As 'Essential' brand in IHG group the hotel delivers basic products and services only. There is a large parking lot right in front of the hotel and it was free of charge. We had a coffee machine in our room for free.

Great location if you're looking to make a drive to Yosemite National Park in the morning. Reasonably priced for the location and therefore good value for money. Great hotel to stay at if you're traveling as a solo-traveler or even better if you're traveling as a couple or group.

It was near South gate of Yosemite national park just 25 minutes to gate. Restaurants are near by as town is small . Breakfast was good and serving lady in breakfast section was too good. Manager of hotel was very good and she has accepted my request to reduce 1 night stay. Thanks

An amazing little resort close to Yosemite national park with spacious apartments, a hot tub surrounded by nature. The apartment was equipped with everything you need for a stay incl washing powder, spices, coffee, salt and pepper… we will definitely come back for a longer stay!

We loved Evergreen Lodge. It wasn’t a luxury hotel but it was perfect for our visit to Yosemite National Park. We stayed inside the park for two days and at Evergreen for two days. The employees were wonderful and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the smores in the evening!

Ilona is a very pleasant and engaging host. Her apartment is on the lower level of her home in Oakhurst. There were 3 of us -- the 2 bedroom apartment worked well for our group. Oakhurst is a great location to stay in prior to visiting Yosemite National Park.

Since we travel with dogs, the staff is very dog-friendly. The staff knew that our destination was Yosemite National Park and were kind enough to give us an introduction to the park, as well as a detailed description of the restaurants near the hotel.

The hotel was in an excellent location and the town of Mariposa has lots of places to eat and interesting shops. It is also very convenient for visting Yosemite National Park. We were able to park easily for free in the road right outside the hotel.

We travelled here to visit Yosemite national park after travelling from San Francisco, we arrived early so the staff worked wonders to find us an early room, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly which made us as tourists feel very welcome.

The room was large and comfortable. Water pressure and drains were working well, no issues. Location to the Yosemite National park is excellent. On site restaurant is very good. The staff was extra friendly throughout the hotel and the stay.

The apartment was beautifully decorated to match the Yosemite National Park cozy cabin vibe. The beds and sofas were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies and food which was a nice surprise to find in the fridge.

I like the location of this hotel. This is the nearest hotel on Highway 140 before you enter the Yosemite National Park. The convenient store operated by the hotel is great as well. I bought some bread, chips, juices there.
